We are looking to add several bright people to our team who are extremely meticulous, have a strong work ethic, and a great attitude. (And we’re serious about all three of those things.)

The internships fall into these specific areas:

(a) Internship — Blister’s Mountain Bike section

We’re looking for an intern who is a passionate, knowledgeable mountain biker to assist with the bike side of Blister. Tasks include:

  • Assisting in the acquisition and management of products to review.
  • Helping with day-to-day logistics, such as organizing the content calendar, building posts for the website and social media, etc.
  • Writing & posting press releases.
  • Reaching out to athletes and bike companies for interviews, product information, etc.

(b) Internship — Blister’s Climbing section

We’re looking for an intern who is a passionate, knowledgeable climber to assist with the climbing side of Blister. Tasks include:

  • Assisting in the acquisition and management of products to review.
  • Helping with day-to-day logistics, such as organizing the content calendar, building posts for the website and social media, etc.
  • Writing & posting press releases.
  • Reaching out to athletes and climbing companies for interviews, product information, etc.

(c) Internship — Web Development & Design

We’re looking for an intern to assist with the front and back end of the Blister website. Tasks include:

  • Managing plugins and WordPress updates to optimize website performance.
  • Ensuring the front-end is functioning smoothly and addressing potential issues.
  • Bonus: ability to make design updates to the site to ensure ease of functionality and a clean aesthetic.

(d) Internship — Sales Assistant

We’re looking for an intern to assist with sales and customer service. Tasks include:

  • Reaching out to companies for potential advertising & partnership opportunities.
  • Handling customer service for Blister members and subscribers.

(e) Internship — Editorial Assistant

We’re looking for an intern with excellent copy editing and organization skills to assist our managing editor with general day-to-day responsibilities. Tasks include:

  • Editing and building posts for publication on the website and Blister’s social feeds.
  • Reaching out to companies for product info, photos, etc.
  • Working on our weekly newsletter.
  • Organizing the Blister content calendar.

Location & Logistics

Location is flexible, so long as you have access to a solid internet connection.

These are unpaid internships with great potential to develop into compensated positions, based on performance.
