Reviewers’ Rides, Part 4

Maxxis Minion DHF, Blister Gear Review

Tires: Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5 EXO set up tubeless up front.  Maxxis Crossmark 2.25 LUST set tubeless out back

I would spill blood in defense of the DHF, and the 2.25 Crossmark has great volume and beefier knobs than the 2.1 version. It rolls fast, brakes really well, and its round profile makes for quick side-to-side transitions.

Seatpost: RockShox Reverb

How did I ever ride mountain bikes without one of these things? I love the smooth feel of the hydraulic mechanism and infinite adjustment cannot be trifled with. I’ve never had issues with mine or my wife’s in 1.5 years.

Race Face Atlas Riser, Blister Gear ReviewBars: Race Face Atlas Low Rise 785mm

Race Face sweep has always worked for me, and they are wide and soul-sucking black on black.

Grips: Troy Lee lock-ons

Good mix of low volume, grip, and cushion.

WTB Volt Race Saddle, Blister Gear Review

Saddle: Currently WTB Volt

But I need to put a Silverado back on for maximum ass-happiness.
